Hundreds of filming locations – from a California mission to pristine beaches to grand vistas to desert islands, and proximity to the Los Angeles entertainment industry, has made Ventura County a popular filming location since Rudolph Valentino galloped across the sands of Oxnard beach in The Sheik back in 1921.
The remake of Gulliver’s Travels, Little Miss Sunshine, Eric Brockovich and Diners, Drive Ins & Dives contributed to our reputation as a desirable filming destination. More recently, projects for NCIS, House Hunters International, American Dream Builders, Operation Repo, and 48 Hours, have only further contributed to our reputation as a great destination for feature films, TV series, TV movies, commercials, music videos, still photography, and web productions.
